Viola (Purdy) Arnold

Passed away peacefully on August 19, 2019, at the age of 90. Daughter of the late Robert and Florence Purdy. Beloved wife of the late Herb Arnold. Loving mother of Ron (Donna), Linda (Bill), Gary (Carole), Carol (Denktash) and Debbie (Scott). She will be fondly missed by her 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, many nephews and nieces, cousins and her best friend Vida Moore. She was predeceased by one brother and one sister.

The visitation will be held at Cadieux Funeral Home, 322 Avenue de Buckingham, Gatineau on Saturday, August 24 from 10 to 11 am followed by a memorial service.

The family wishes to thank all her friends and the entire staff at the Westwood Retirement Residence for their kindness, excellent care and support.

Donations may be made in her memory to either the Alzheimer Society of Canada or to the Lung Association of Canada.
