Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026 at the age of 81 at the Centre d’hébergement de Vallée-de-la-Lièvre. Daughter of the late Joseph and Freda Laforce (née Biehler). Beloved wife of the late Milton Teske. Cherished mother of Karen (Philip Cameron), Beatrice (Barrie Hobbs), and Laurie (Marc Chénier). Proud grandmother of Benjamin, Christopher, Samuel and Abigail; great-grandmother of Madeline and Luke. Sister of Wesley (Doreen Miller) and Elsie (the late John Larsen). Predeceased by her infant brother and sister, Elva. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 27th, 2026, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., at Buckingham Chapel of Maisons Funéraires Cadieux, 322 avenue de Buckingham, Gatineau, Québec. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 28th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 643 Chemin d’Inlet, Mulgrave-Et-Derry, Québec. Burial will take place in parish cemetery. Reception to follow at Hill and Gully Riders Snowmobile Club. For those wishing, donations may be made to St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church or to the Centre d’hébergement de Vallée-de-la-Lièvre (for volunteer activites).

The family would like to thank the staff at the CHSLD Vallée-de-la-Lièvre, Medical Daycare and the 3rd Floor of l’Hôpital de Papineau. They would also like to thank the staff of the CLSC and Pierrette for assisting in keeping her in her home for as long as possible.
