Buckingham

René Oscar Charron

De Buckingham, QC, a succombé au syndrome myélodysplasique. Il nous a quitté le 29 avril à l’âge de 85 ans.Il était le fils de feu Marie-Louise Beaulne et de feu Samuel Charron.Époux bien-aimé de 63 ans de Marilyn (Chamberlin). Fier père de Joanne (Claude), Paul (Karen), April (Gordon) et André (Ruth).  Il était aussi le fier grand-père de Jessica (Brian), Christopher (Veronica), Tiffany, Jason (Elena), Melissa (Alex), Jenna (Chad), Alexandra (Nicholas) et Cassandra (Liam); et de ses arrière-petits-enfants Lincoln, Jensen, Evelyn Rose, Cooper et Margot.

Il fut précédé par ses frères jumeaux Léo et Reault, sa sœur Fleurette, ses frères jumeaux Rolland et Alban, sa sœur jumelle Irène, ainsi que ses beaux-frères Roger, René, Lawrence, Mike, Norman, Elmer et Ernest, belle-sœur Muriel. Il laisse dans le deuil sa sœur Diane, ses belle-sœurs Thérèse, Jacqueline, Vivian, Ruth et Linda.

René a travaillé dans une mine à Poltimore, QC où il a rencontré Marilyn.  Plus tard, il a travaillé pour Albright Wilson (anciennement ERCO), Buckingham, QC d’où il a pris sa retraite et ensuite a entrepris des passe-temps, y compris la production de sirop d’érable.

La famille tient à remercier la Dre Valérie Guilbeault, les infirmières du CLSC, le personnel du Manoir Buckingham et de l’hôpital de Buckingham pour leurs excellents soins.

En raison des mesures sanitaires, les funérailles seront célébrées dans le confort familial.

Succumbing to myelodysplasic syndrome, Rene, of Buckingham, QC, left us on April 29th at the age of 85.He was the son of the late Marie-Louise Beaulne and the late Samuel Charron.Beloved husband of 63 years to Marilyn (Chamberlin). Proud father of Joanne (Claude), Paul (Karen), April (Gordon), and Andre (Ruth).  Equally proud grandfather of Jessica (Brian), Christopher (Veronica), Tiffany, Jason (Elena), Melissa (Alex), Jenna (Chad), Alexandra (Nicholas), and Cassandra (Liam); and of his great grandchildren Lincoln, Jensen, Evelyn Rose, Cooper and Margot.

Predeceased by twin brothers Léo and Reault, his sister Fleurette, twin brothers Rolland and Alban, his twin sister Irène, brothers-in-law Roger, René, Lawrence, Mike, Norman, Elmer and Ernest, sister-in-law Muriel.

He is survived by his sister Diane, sisters-in-law Thérèse, Jacqueline, Vivian, Ruth, and Linda.

Rene worked in a mine in Poltimore, QC where he met Marilyn.  He later worked for Albright Wilson (formerly ERCO), Buckingham, QC from which he retired and undertook hobbies, including maple syrup production.

The family would like to thank Dr. Valérie Guilbeault, the CLSC nurses, the staff at Le Manoir Buckingham and the Buckingham hospital for their excellent care.

Due to COVID, a private funeral mass will be held.
