It is with tender hearts and cherished memories that we share the passing of Marilyn Leclair, who left us peacefully on October 1, 2026, at the age of 76.
Born to the late Gerrald Leclair and Kathleen Stone, Marilyn was a woman whose kindness, strength, and quiet resilience touched everyone who knew her. She leaves behind her beloved daughters, Tina (Jean-Charles) and Amanda, who will forever carry her love in their hearts. She will also be deeply missed by her cherished grandchildren — Emma, Mia, Allie, and Jayden — each of whom brought her immense joy.
Marilyn is survived by her sisters Joyce Lynn (Cliff), her twin sister Marlene (Peter), Veronica, Shirley (Albert), and Catherine (John); and her brothers Leo and Danny (Nicole). She is predeceased by her sister Sharon (Wally) and her brother-in-law Gaston, the beloved late husband of Veronica. She also leaves behind many relatives and dear friends who will remember her warmth, her laughter, and her unwavering generosity.
A celebration of her life will be held at her church, Le Chemin Hodos, located at 480 rue du Vernon, Gatineau Quebec, J9J 3K5, on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
In honor of Marilyn’s wishes, guests are invited to come as you are, dressed in whatever colors make you feel joyful. She believed that life should be celebrated with brightness and comfort, and she hoped her gathering would feel less like a farewell and more like a moment to share stories, laughter, and the love she gave so freely.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
