It is with a great sadness that we announce the passing of
Jane Daly
On April 22, 2023, at the age of 97. A long-term resident of Mayo, Qc. She was predeceased by her parents Christopher Daly and Ida Lenaghan as well as her sisters Sheila Marris, Christaine French, Doris McKinnel and Jocelyn ‘’Joyce’’ Bougard. She is survived by many nephews, nieces, family and friends.
Jane retired from the National Film Board of Canada. She had many interests, she was a skilled photographer, avid reader, she loved nature and wildlife, enjoyed travelling and had a deep appreciation for the arts.
A special recognition and gratitude to the nursing staff and caregivers at the Centre d’Hébergement de Vallée-de-la-Lièvre for their excellent care and compassion during her stay at the long-term care facility.
At Jane’s request, there will be no visitation. At a later date, following the cremation, a celebration of life and internment will be held at St-Stephen’s Anglican cemetery in Buckingham.
