James Ladue

Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loved ones, on Friday, November 7th, 2025, at the age of 77 years old. He was the son of the late William Ladue and of the late Helen Fortier and caring husband of Paulette Ladue née Lajoie. Devoted father to James (Jennifer Pinkos) and Jennifer (Chris Achtell); cherished grandfather of Anthony and Leena; brother of: Carrol (Claude Demers), Dindy (Tom Kelly), Babe (Raymond St-Jean), Richard and Sheila (Germain Lanthier). He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, many relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 29th, 2025, at 11:00am, at Our Lady of Victory Parish (490, rue Charles in Gatineau (Buckingham sector). Family will receive your condolences at 10:00am.

In lieu of flowers, donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated.

The family would like to say thank you to the CLSC of Buckingham, Dr. Valérie Guilbeault, Nurse Patricia Patry Collins and the personal support workers Julie and Jeanne D’Arc for the amazing care provided to James and to their family.
